Why I grew an online wellness business in a Gig Economy

Micro enterprises are a very popular option for families in today’s world. I, myself as a traditional business owner wanted to increase my business offerings while also continuing to grow my business in a way that helped others live better lives. I was open to learning how to expand my company in a way that created more financial stability without a significant time commitment attached to it.

I wanted impact with flexibility. I wanted to learn more skills and serve on a bigger level. I also didn’t want to have to make significant financial investment to get set up, which is why I was so intrigued by a home-based, wellness franchise option. I loved the idea of having no ceiling on earnings. I also liked being able to better serve my existing client community and attract more like-minded people into my business.

What I didn’t expect was that adding in a home-based wellness franchise to my existing business would significantly increase the number of people I was going to serve. Many whom would have never come in through my traditional business. My $52 investment to open a whole food franchise, opened an entirely new market for me!

In the past 9 years I have seen tremendous growth in business impact on health and wellness in families in communities that were once outside my reach. I have quadrupled my income and created more financial stability. I have also created more time freedom in the process. I have developed business skills that I would not have developed before this home franchise addition to my business. Even more unexpected, I have also created incredible opportunity for others in the wellness field.

I now impact thousands of people whom I never would have had the opportunity to support in my traditional business.
